【Project Overview】 The Water Engineering Project of Ningbo Maritime Supervision Base under Zhejiang Maritime Safety Administration, undertaken by Shanghai Darun Port Construction Group Co., Ltd., was located at Baizhangcun Village near the Changyaojian River in northern Baifeng Town, Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. The project consisted of two separate parts, a fixed dock (1,000-ton-class) and two floating docks (40m x 9m) and supporting land facilities, with a total contract value of RMB 17.13 million. It was one of the four key projects under the Ministry of Transport of PRC in 2008, as well as one of the key projects under Zhejiang Maritime Safety Administration and Ningbo Maritime Safety Administration. It would play a major role in the maritime safety supervision in the local region on completion. The project period lasted 10 months from December 10, 2008, to September 15, 2009, when it was completed and accepted with excellent quality.
