【Project Overview】 Undertaken by Shanghai Darun Port Construction Group Co., Ltd., this channel improvement project (section H1), also one of the channel revetment projects in Guangdong Province, consisted of three parts, bank revetment and riprap protection at Liyuzhou(Carp Island), bank revetment and riprap protection at Tanzhou and breakwater removal, the total revetment of which covered 2,320 m. Located in the lower reaches of the Beijiang River, which was the main stream of the Pearl River water system, Shunde waterway was a major flood passage of the mainstream Beijaing River, as well as an important river for agricultural irrigation & drainage and navigation in the Pearl River Delta region. Darun has established itself with a very strong professional construction technology in the Pearl River Delta region and made contribution to its irrigation, drainage and navigation channels through a successful delivery of this project.
